That is beautiful!! I have been following your blog since right before you brought Kaitlyn home. We are waiting for our RA to bring home Piper who was on the waiting child list for AWAA. She is now 13 yrs. She will be our second daughter from China. We have a 4 yr. old daughter adopted in 10/06 at nineteen months. I so appreciate your honesty in all that you have shared. I am also in a yahoo group for adopted children 10 and older that has some resources and info that may be helpful and encouraging for you. You may have input that would be encouraging and helpful for the other families. We live in Tucson. My blog is hispreciousgirls.blogspot.com Blessings, Kathy
I LOVE this. I believe you have given hope to the hopeless. Praise God your faimly has been obedient even when the call was tough.
Kaitlyn is turning into a beautiful young lady. Thanks for sharing this wonderful story with us. And giveing more hope to those who are either in the process of adopting or thinking about it.
Wow! What a great video ... I know that your journey as been just that ... a journey ... but you are a great example of what perseverance and faithfulness can bring about. Thank you for that!
We now have the blog attached to "praisinyahweh" and a second one that is more about our family at
Love the video. Today is our Gotcha Day with Charlotte and you were in our original LID group with AWAA. We both switched to Special needs. Something made me think of you guys today, so I searched for your blog and am so glad I did. I am so happy to see you are adapting and that Kaitlyn is starting to trust you. I think you should share your video with AWAA to post on their blog. It would give some insight for families considering older children! In Him, Carla L. Fellow AWAA family

We moved to Arizona 8 years ago from Washington State. We have been married for 18 years and have two beautiful biological children: Austin (14) and Kailey (13). We decided to build our family through adoption almost 3 years ago. Our whole family is incredibly excited to go to China and bring Ying home! We want to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the past couple years! We love you dearly!
